Marketplace rules

Version 19 October 2026. Rules for launch. Buying and payments are not available yet.

  1. Buying and selling from age 18, initially with residence, item and delivery locations in Switzerland. Legitimately owned physical everyday goods only. No weapons, medicines, alcohol, tobacco, animals, counterfeits, illegal goods or particularly risky regulated categories. One item or clearly described bundle per purchase.

  2. The seller enters proceeds from CHF 1. The fee is 5 % of those proceeds plus CHF 0.50 per purchase, included in the displayed buyer price; shipping is extra. No fixed Wyter price cap for collection; confirmed payment and account limits apply. Automatic price reductions are optional; no automatic purchases at launch.

  3. Purchases are binding; pay through Wyter. When stock confirmation is needed: preauthorisation, seller confirmation within 12 hours, then automatic charge. Without confirmation, the authorisation is released. Supported methods only; the exact process and total are shown before authorisation.

  4. Shipping up to CHF 5,000 including the Wyter fee, excluding postage; collection without a fixed Wyter price cap, within confirmed payment and account limits. Postage includes Post Signature (+CHF 1.50) above CHF 500 and Post Assurance (+CHF 7) above CHF 1,500. Liability is subject to Swiss Post terms, without a blanket compensation guarantee. Ship within 7 calendar days, adjustable by the seller from 1 to 30 before purchase; deviations are marked and the agreed deadline is frozen. Integrated postal label, tracking and appropriate coverage required; otherwise collection. Without proof by the deadline, full refund; unclear proof is reviewed first. Confirmed loss: buyer fully refunded, seller compensation according to insurance decision and coverage.

  5. Collection is prepaid and reserved for 14 calendar days, jointly extendable to 30 total. Inspect first, then scan the seller’s QR to release proceeds. Early cancellation requires seller consent; after expiry without handover, full refund including fee. Disputed handovers are reviewed first. Wyter bears nonrefunded payment costs.

  6. Inspect within 3 calendar days of confirmed delivery, extendable once before expiry to 7 total. A timely problem report holds payout. Confirmed material misdescription or wrong item: full refund including fee and original postage; seller pays both shipping legs. Ordinary evidence review has no extra fee. No additional mandatory change-of-mind returns for accurately described private sales; voluntary agreements and statutory rights remain.

  7. Seller responds to a claim within 3 days; silence leads to human review. Return within 7 days of a paid label and address becoming available, jointly extendable to 14. Actual postal acceptance counts. Final reminder plus 48-hour grace period before ending the return; unresolved reported obstacles are reviewed first. Seller inspects confirmed return delivery within 3 days, extendable once to 7; without a problem, refund is initiated. Partial refunds are disabled at launch.

  8. Released proceeds are paid out immediately. Release, payment instruction and bank credit are different steps. Provider identity, payment and payout approval is required before a seller’s first public listing. New sellers: open listings up to CHF 2000 until three completed sales; request a manual increase in the profile.

  9. Support: hallo@wyter.ch, Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 Swiss time, excluding public holidays. First-response target: two business days; internal escalation after seven unresolved days. Reports, blocking and appeals in the profile. A general report does not replace a problem report in the order. Request account deletion at any time; open business is settled first and necessary evidence retained for its specific purpose.
